Course Overview
The program is designed to provide learners with an in-depth understanding of child development and effective strategies for supporting children and young people’s growth and development.
Children do not develop in a single straight line. Their physical growth, thinking, relationships and emotional wellbeing interact in ways that shape participation and future opportunity. This four-week programme gives practitioners a connected view of those influences. It moves from developmental theory into SEND, safeguarding and family collaboration so that knowledge can inform real professional decisions.
Education practitioners extending their developmental knowledge.
Family-support workers broadening their insight into childhood needs.
Supervisors embedding reflection into service delivery.
